Operation Homefront provides emergency financial and other assistance to the families of service members and wounded warriors. The majority of assistance is in the form of grants for rent, utilities, food, home/car repairs and other basic needs.
Proceeds from the golf tournament will help provide these grants, as well as help with Operation Homefronts morale programs, which provide military children with school supplies in August, toys in December, baby showers for pregnant military wives, and support for caregivers for its wounded warriors.
Reason For Event: proceeds from this tournament will benefit local military families in the Northeast.
Prizes will be awarded for the first, second and third place teams, as well as Closest to the Pin and Long Drive for both men and women. There will also be a raffle and a silent auction.
