There are many New Mexico amateur tournaments at the Twin Warriors for players of all age-brackets. Additionally, the scenery is fantastic and the course fees are very reasonable, so this course is particularly recommended for advanced golfers.
The Sandia Golf Course in Albuquerque is a conveniently-located course that is well-maintained. It just opened in 2005 and already is gaining a reputation for high-quality golf. Itís a challenging course in spots, but the fairways are accommodating and golfers of most levels should enjoy this one.
The Spring River Golf Course, located in Roswell, is another spectacular course with breathtaking views. The swift fairways and greens are no doubt difficult at times, but the course is impeccably maintained and offers many stimulating challenges.
The Alto Lakes Golf & Course in Ruidoso is another exciting course. New Mexico golf tournaments occur regularly here, as well. Itís a private-equity course on blue grass that is expertly maintained.
